Description: While recording music a lot of different themes and sounds surface. On this album most songs are based on funky breake beats or syncoped back beats. Though three of the songs have straight 4x4 rhythm. The easiest way to find out how it sounds is by listening to the streaming 2 minute samples posted on this page. XEN BREAKS ---------- Stands apart altogether, expressing a solid individual cross genre sound contesting for larger sound systems. Almost everything you hear is original sounds created from scratch with an analogue synth called Clavia Nord Modular, like the percussion, effect sounds, sequencers, bass and melodies. The few remaining sounds origin from Roland JV1080 or mac-speech (voices). Mostly processed with Cubase's VST effects and recording studio and some sound shaping with Ableton. (see instrument list). While recording music a lot of different themes and sounds surface. On this album most songs are based on funky break beats or syncopated back beats. Though three of the songs are based on a straight kick with the the back- and brake-beats lingering inside the sound (also see 'Cosmic Embryo Electronica' album). |
